Summary of Role This is a senior leadership role where you will drive growth and shape the future of our software engineering consultancy. The ideal incumbent will have a software engineering background and will lead the team and grow the business through people-centred leadership. The primary focus will be on leading people and driving business growth through customer relationships. A software engineering background will be useful in understanding the principles that make the Erlang Ecosystem great, help provide a vision and direction for the unit while supporting business development efforts. Responsibilities include Strategic leadership of technology and innovation, defining the direction of the team to meet growth forecasts and OKR’s Networking and driving growth initiatives to support sales and the business pipeline Building and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders across other business units both within Erlang Solutions and the wider Trifork Group Overseeing customer projects and liaising with third parties Managing the team, ensuring utilisation and resource allocation Financial planning to achieve growth and EBITDA targets Oversight of legal and administrative tasks Don\’t worry if you can’t check every box. About You An engineering background, ideally with a Computer Science degree (or similar) Proven experience leading software development teams with a good track record of retaining talent A consulting background, or experience from a services company People-centred leader that will build strong relationships and sustain a positive and trusting culture within the business unit Strong commercial awareness and strategic foresight, adept at market understanding and growth opportunity identification Ideally has a good contact network in the greater London Area Based in the UK and preferably within commuting distance of London.
