This is a highly cross-functional and strategic role—ideal for someone who is equally strong in partner management, data analysis, and commercial ownership. You’ll collaborate closely with UK leadership and global stakeholders to scale the vertical in a smart, responsible way. This position reports to the Director of Performance Marketing.
Roles And Responsibilities
- You are an excellent communicator who can navigate competing viewpoints, manage difficult conversations with confidence, and influence stakeholders at all levels—both internally and externally.
- You are commercially astute, with a strong understanding of key trading levers, performance drivers, and how to translate them into actionable channel strategies that drive results.
- You are solution-oriented, bringing sharp attention to detail, sound judgment, and the ability to solve problems quickly while balancing immediate performance with long-term business goals.

- You are data-driven, with strong analytical skills and the ability to extract insights from complex data to inform decisions and guide strategy.
Where You Can Make An Impact
- Own the P&L for the Business Lending vertical—setting, tracking, and delivering on ambitious revenue and performance targets.
- Build and lead the commercial strategy for SME lending, balancing customer needs, partner goals, and long-term business growth.
- Drive marketplace expansion by onboarding and scaling relationships with UK brokers and lenders to grow our partner ecosystem.
- Understand partner priorities and co-create commercial proposals that deliver mutual value, negotiating terms and managing ongoing performance.
- Develop deep insights into each partner’s business model to tailor strategies that lead to long-term, successful collaboration.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, and Content teams to bring improvements to life and accelerate impact.
- Champion the customer experience by identifying and implementing ways to improve our lending journeys—boosting both front- and back-end conversion.
- Make data-driven decisions, using insights from performance metrics and conversion funnels to optimize monetization and customer outcomes.
- Monitor and report on business performance, strategic risks, and market trends to both UK and global stakeholders.
Your Experience
- 5-7 years work experience managing commercial relationships, ideally in business lending.
- Deep domain knowledge in small business and the lending market.
- Strong track record of negotiating commercials and contracts based on business priorities and industry insights.
- Ability to partner effectively with cross-functional teams and communicate with a solutions-first approach.
- Excellent organization, attention to detail, and ability to multitask.
- Strong computer skills (Google Calendar, Google Drive, Excel).
- Ability to think creatively and critically and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic, hyper-growth work environment.
- Project management experience with a track record of implementing and developing digital customer journeys.
