Medical Product Specialist Full Time & Permanent Scotland Region Up to £55,000 (doe) + Car + Achievable Bonuses! Have you gained previous medical device sales experience? Perhaps you are a pharmaceutical (or similar) graduate looking to begin a rewarding career? Interested in joining a leading company that offers room for progression and ongoing training? Our client is a leading supplier of innovative medical and surgical devices and they are now looking to recruit an ambitious Product Specialist to cover their Scotland region. Joining a friendly team, this opportunity will see you manage current sales business under the direction of the very personable National Sales Manager for their range of products. The expectation is that you will be in the field for up to 4 days per week with the remaining day an admin day. Your Experience: You will have at least 18 months full time medical device sales experience in the FMCG and/or capital equipment sector, with an excellent demonstrable sales track record. Account Management experience; experience of selling at medical consultant and senior nursing decision maker level is a great advantage. It would also be advantageous if you had experience of the medical device field and working knowledge of procurement channels and NHS OM as well as local knowledge of procurement partners and a network of contacts to support your growth in the hospitals you cover. Responsibilities & Duties: To achieve objectives and KPIs as agreed with the National Sales Manager. To identify, develop and provide an excellent service to all customers. To introduce the agreed promoted products to the appropriate customer base. To provide high quality training, service and therapy knowledge on product ranges to all customers. Actively prospect and record new opportunities and all activity in CRM. Maximise efficiency and productivity, particularly to optimise customer-facing activities within the designated territory. Plan and prioritise sales activities that drive customer engagement and progression of pipeline. Plan and prioritise to ensure delivery on all administrative duties. Liaise with company colleagues regarding contacts and business opportunities. Provide critical information and market intelligence that support the commercial team for tender processes. Social Media – Omni channel presence to support company initiatives. Monitor sales metrics and support demand management with accurate forecasting of new business. To manage and develop the individual territory through analysis of market intelligence, sales & marketing dataCandidate Profile You will be interested in a consultative sale – you are naturally curious. You will be mindful and exhibit strong Emotional Intelligence. You will possess a high level of organisation skills. You will either have or will be able to develop a strong sense of making a difference to the patients / end users. You are trustworthy and set high standards.
