Our client is a family owned well established business who specialise in  Housing Build Development and retrofit. An exciting opportunity for a Contracts Manager has arisen within their social housing sector. The scope of works they are currently undertaking are Kitchen and Bathroom refurbishments, re-wires, window and door replacements, EWI works, external works, social housing decarbonisation schemes  – previous experience in this type of work is essential. Role and responsibilities  Managing operational site teams Implementing Health & Safety procedures and practices to industry leadings standards Managing delivery in accordance with all regulations, prescribed recommendations, contract documentation and standards Managing and maintain programme and report any departures Participate in activities and initiatives to improve working practice Adherance to company policies and procedures undertaking all duties whilst promoting values Arrangement and attendance at internal and external pre-start meetings Liaison and communication with all internal team Efficient allocation and management of project resource requirements including direct labour, direct supplied materials, plant, fleet requirements, sub-contractors, novated supply chain and free issue materials Review and approval (in conjunction with the Quantity Surveyor) of Sub-Contractor valuations Relationship management with peers including client, design team and consultants Arrangement and attendance at contract close out meeting, chairing if required To be considered  Proven track record of Contract Management Experience in running multiple Social Housing projects from start to finish In-depth knowledge of construction standards, legislation, and quality delivery Strong planning, decision-making, and organisational abilities Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) In date SMSTS qualification First Aid at work Asbestos Awareness (is desirable but not essential)
