A Product Owner is required for a fast-paced and evolving global events management company, to lead the development and optimisation of an events management platform. You’ll take ownership of the company’s event management system, driving the roadmap, stakeholder engagement, backlog prioritisation, and the delivery of user-centric features across a global events portfolio.
As the Product Owner, you’ll work across product, technology, and business functions, aligning roadmap priorities with strategic goals. You’ll manage all elements of product lifecycle management, from budgeting and stakeholder communication to backlog grooming and feature development. This is a hands-on, cross-functional role requiring a deep understanding of agile methodologies, product strategy, and platform capabilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Own the lifecycle of the platform, shaping its strategic direction and day-to-day management
- Lead backlog planning, budgeting, and roadmap definition aligned to business objectives
- Act as the primary point of contact between stakeholders and development teams
- Translate feedback and performance metrics into continuous product improvements
- Support technical and non-technical users through in-depth platform knowledge and documentation
- Drive initiatives and lead small-scale projects, identify innovation opportunities, and support cross-functional delivery
Skills & Experience Required:
- Previous experience as a Product Owner, Product Support or Business Analyst
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and turn insights into meaningful product decisions
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage effectively across technical and non-technical teams
- Strategic and solutions-focused thinker with a proactive approach to overcoming challenges
- Comfortable adapting to changing priorities and flexible in day-to-day working practices
- Experience in managing product budgets and/or contributing to financial planning
- Able to work with cross-functional teams, managing priorities and ensuring alignment with wider business goals
- Confident producing clear documentation and wireframes to support product development
- Approachable and collaborative, able to tailor communication styles to different stakeholders and foster a positive team environment
