Job Title: Legionella Risk Assessor / Consultant Location: Harlow, Essex Salary/Benefits: £26k – £40k + Training & Benefits We are seeking a qualified and professional Legionella Risk Assessor / Consultant, to join an innovative and holistic Water Treatment consultancy. They have an excellent reputation and have recently gained new contracts in the South East, across a mix of Commercial and Industrial sites. You will be located in/around: Harlow, Epping, Bishop's Stortford, Braintree, Chelmsford, Maldon, Billericay, Wickford, Cheshunt, Enfield, Ilford, Barking, Romford, Rainham, Grays, Tilbury, Potters Bar, Hatfield, Welwyn Garden City, St Albans, Borehamwood, Watford, Harpenden, Luton, Harrow, Wembley. Experience / Qualifications: – You must be qualified with the City & Guilds (WMSoc) in Legionella Risk Assessing – Will have extensive experience working as a Legionella Risk Assessor – Practised in providing a consultancy service to clients – Strong written and verbal communication skills – Will ideally have hands-on water hygiene / treatment experience – Can demonstrate a well-rounded knowledge of ACOP L8 and HSG 274 guidelines – IT proficient The Role: – Undertaking Legionella Risk Assessments on domestic hot & cold systems, cooling towers and other process systems – Completing routine water sampling and temperature monitoring – Writing thorough written risk assessment reports, including observations and recommendations – Being a key contact for clients, answering any technical queries as well as providing updates on services and handling any on-site issues – Supporting and training new Legionella Risk Assessors – Maintaining positive working relationships with clients – Travelling as per company requirements Alternative job titles: Water Hygiene Assessor, Legionella Consultant, Water Hygiene Consultant, Environmental Consultant.
