Field Sales Specialist (m/f/x)
The impact you have in this role
As a Sales Representative for our Abrasive Systems Division covering the North East England & Scotland territory in the UK, you will have the opportunity to put your curiosity to good use and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people in the world.
This role is responsible for the profitable growth of our innovative and game changing abrasive portfolio including coated/non-woven and portable bonded abrasives. This is a field-based end user focused sales position calling on a variety of industrial manufacturing businesses which are predominantly focused on metal fabrication.
The Impact You\’ll make in this role:
Support our end user customers to optimize their production processes, delivering market leading productivity savings and safety improvements with 3M abrasive products
Meet & exceed quarterly and annual sales targets by increasing market share through competitive new end user conversions
Build a strong pipeline of new opportunities and close win these opportunities as required under sales plan.
Utilise the Customer Relationship Database SF.com (accounts, activities, opportunities, profiles, contacts) as a territory management and sales planning tool
Find and develop new end users increasing end user loyalty to 3M Abrasive products across the territory by using abrasive product, application and process knowledge
Develop close working relationships with the territory channel partner Sales Reps built on agreed business plans, promotional activities, joint working and end user support.
Feedback on competitor activities within the marketplace.
