Senior Business Development Manager – Tech Solutions Provider

Location: York (Hybrid – office, home & customer site visits)

Salary: Up to ÂŁ90,000 base + double OTE

We’re working with a fast‑growing technology solutions provider that’s expanding its footprint across the UK. Following a period of sustained growth, they’re now looking for an experienced Senior Business Development Manager to help drive new business and nurture high‑value client relationships. This is a key hire within the sales organisation, ideal for someone who thrives in a consultative, solutions‑led environment and enjoys building long‑term partnerships.

The Role

  • Develop and execute strategic new business plans across key sectors.
  • Identify, engage, and win new enterprise clients across the North.
  • Work closely with technical specialists to design and deliver tailored IT, Cloud, and Digital Transformation solutions.
  • Build trusted, long‑term relationships with C‑level decision makers.
  • Collaborate with marketing, pre‑sales, and delivery teams to ensure a seamless customer experience.
  • Represent the company at industry events, vendor briefings, and client meetings.

About You

  • A proven track record in B2B tech sales (ideally MSP, VAR, or cloud services environment).
  • Experience selling complex IT solutions, e.g., Cloud, Cyber, Managed Services, or Digital Transformation.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills with a consultative approach.
  • The ability to work autonomously while collaborating across technical and delivery teams.
  • Based within a commutable distance of York, with flexibility to travel to client sites.
