Job Description

Are you a Private Client Solicitor looking for an opportunity to join a growing, international team? If so, then we would love to hear from you!

The role

We are looking for a solicitor, with 3-5 years PQE, to join our growing international Private Client team based in London.

You will undertake a broad range of private client work predominantly for individuals with international connections, to include advising on pre immigration tax planning, the remittance basis of taxation and statutory resident test, estate planning for non Long Term Resident individuals, global asset structuring, succession planning and family governance for international families, advising on the UK tax treatment of investment in the UK, including UK property holding structures, and advising on all aspects of offshore trust, estate planning and other related tax and fiduciary work.

You will be expected to carry out marketing and business development activities to expand the London client base.

The firm has a significant private client national service line (NSL) headed up by Deborah Clark. We have teams in each of our Birmingham, Cambridge, London, Leeds, Manchester and Norwich offices. The teams also work closely with colleagues in other areas such a corporate, real estate and family. Their workload is varied and of high quality including all aspects of personal tax, lasting powers of attorney, the formation, administration and restructuring of trusts, family investment companies and other onshore and offshore structures for UK tax planning, family and asset protection, together with succession planning for family business owners.

The London team is led by Sarah Cormack and Ravi Francis.

  • Technically strong with relevant experience
