Head of Capital Markets
We are seeking a strategic and driven Head of Capital Markets to augment Wormhole Foundation\’s capital formation, liquidity strategy, and fundraising operations. This role is critical to securing and scaling the financial resources needed to support our ecosystem and the foundation\’s long-term growth initiatives. You will work cross-functionally to drive sustainable capital inflow through both crypto-native and traditional finance channels.
What You\’ll Do:

• Capital Strategy: Design and execute the overall capitalization roadmap, aligning it with product growth, treasury needs, and market cycles.
• Liquidity Management: Oversee protocol liquidity provisioning strategies (e.g. staking, LP incentives, liquidity mining, ve-tokenomics) to ensure deep and efficient markets.
• Investor Relations: Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective investors. Own capital partner communications, updates, and reporting.
• Ecosystem Incentives: Partner with strategy and research to build incentive programs that align long-term ecosystem health with capital efficiency.
• Compliance & Risk: Partner with legal and compliance teams to ensure regulatory-aligned fundraising activities and capital operations.
• Other special projects as assigned

Who You Are:

• 5+ years of experience in capital markets, venture capital, crypto finance, investment banking, or a related field.
• Deep understanding of DeFi protocols, tokenomics, and on-chain liquidity mechanics.
• Proven track record of raising capital (crypto-native or traditional) and negotiating with institutional investors.
• Highly motivated, creative, and results-driven self-starter
• Excited to work in a results-driven, meritocratic work environment.
• Enjoy working with a remote-first team, but are available for your core working hours to be between 10:00am to 6:00pm ET
