We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Mechanical Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in UK Engineering Design – MEP and Mechanical Design. This role offers the opportunity to work on diverse projects and collaborate with a talented team of professionals.
Responsibilities
- Lead the design and implementation of mechanical building systems, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations
- Provide technical expertise and guidance on MEP systems and mechanical design
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to develop integrated solutions for building projects
- Manage and mentor a team of engineers and technicians
- Conduct feasibility studies, site visits, and perform assessments to support project development
Qualifications
- Bachelor\’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
- Professional Engineering (PE) license is strongly preferred
- Extensive experience working with UK Engineering Design – MEP and mechanical design
- Proficiency in relevant software and tools for design and analysis
- Strong understanding of industry codes and standards
- Excellent communication, leadership, and project management skills
Day-to-day
- Collaborating with the project team to develop mechanical designs that integrate seamlessly with architectural and structural elements
- Reviewing and approving design packages, calculations, and specifications
- Performing site visits and technical inspections to ensure quality and compliance with design specifications
- Providing technical expertise and support to resolve engineering challenges
- Leading and participating in design review meetings to ensure project objectives are met
