We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Mechanical Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in UK Engineering Design – MEP and Mechanical Design. This role offers the opportunity to work on diverse projects and collaborate with a talented team of professionals.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the design and implementation of mechanical building systems, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations
  • Provide technical expertise and guidance on MEP systems and mechanical design
  • Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to develop integrated solutions for building projects
  • Manage and mentor a team of engineers and technicians
  • Conduct feasibility studies, site visits, and perform assessments to support project development

Qualifications

  • Bachelor\’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
  • Professional Engineering (PE) license is strongly preferred
  • Extensive experience working with UK Engineering Design – MEP and mechanical design
  • Proficiency in relevant software and tools for design and analysis
  • Strong understanding of industry codes and standards
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and project management skills

Day-to-day

  • Collaborating with the project team to develop mechanical designs that integrate seamlessly with architectural and structural elements
  • Reviewing and approving design packages, calculations, and specifications
  • Performing site visits and technical inspections to ensure quality and compliance with design specifications
  • Providing technical expertise and support to resolve engineering challenges
  • Leading and participating in design review meetings to ensure project objectives are met
