Change specialist moving us from kitchen production to manufacturing.
Reporting to the senior team.
Night shift manager
- Understanding good manufacturing practices, people safety
- Proven track record of being people through challenges.
- Capable of working under own initiative. When have you done this previously ?
- People person – tough on rules and regulations and not afraid to challenge when needed, have you experience in doing this ?
- Ability to deliver food safety culture in to team.. can you and have you done this before ?
- Supervise daily food production activities to ensure quality and consistency in all menu items.
- Implement and monitor HACCP plans to guarantee food safety and compliance with health regulations.
- Train and manage kitchen staff on food safety practices, proper handling techniques, and equipment usage.
- Conduct regular inspections of kitchen facilities and equipment to maintain cleanliness and operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with suppliers to ensure the procurement of high-quality ingredients while managing inventory levels effectively.
- Maintain accurate records related to food production, safety inspections, and staff training sessions.
- Address any issues related to food quality or safety promptly and effectively.
Requirements
- Proven experience in a food management role or similar position within the culinary industry.
- Working Nights 10pm -6am – 5 days over 7 including some weekends.
- BRC experience and Sap experience.
- Strong knowledge of HACCP principles and food safety regulations.
- Familiarity with food production processes and mechanical knowledge of kitchen equipment.
- Basic mathematical skills for inventory management and recipe calculations.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Strong leadership abilities with a focus on team development and training.
