Production Manager

Change specialist moving us from kitchen production to manufacturing.

Reporting to the senior team.

Night shift manager

  1. Understanding good manufacturing practices, people safety
  2. Proven track record of being people through challenges.
  3. Capable of working under own initiative. When have you done this previously ?
  4. People person – tough on rules and regulations and not afraid to challenge when needed, have you experience in doing this ?
  5. Ability to deliver food safety culture in to team.. can you and have you done this before ?
  • Supervise daily food production activities to ensure quality and consistency in all menu items.
  • Implement and monitor HACCP plans to guarantee food safety and compliance with health regulations.
  • Train and manage kitchen staff on food safety practices, proper handling techniques, and equipment usage.
  • Conduct regular inspections of kitchen facilities and equipment to maintain cleanliness and operational efficiency.
  • Collaborate with suppliers to ensure the procurement of high-quality ingredients while managing inventory levels effectively.
  • Maintain accurate records related to food production, safety inspections, and staff training sessions.
  • Address any issues related to food quality or safety promptly and effectively.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in a food management role or similar position within the culinary industry.
  • Working Nights 10pm -6am – 5 days over 7 including some weekends.
  • BRC experience and Sap experience.
  • Strong knowledge of HACCP principles and food safety regulations.
  • Familiarity with food production processes and mechanical knowledge of kitchen equipment.
  • Basic mathematical skills for inventory management and recipe calculations.
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Strong leadership abilities with a focus on team development and training.
