Background:
- BA/BS and/or MA/MS in visual/graphic design, retail design, or a relevant design field.
- 6+ years of relevant design experience (corporate/consultancy) with proven success in the market.
Purpose of the role:
- Creation of Visual Merchandising design solutions across all consumer journey touchpoints and formats, for Direct and/or Indirect Channels.
Accountability:
- Creative-doing: Drive the creative process hands-on from ideation to technical development/prototyping across formats, including restricted markets. Self-generate concept sketches, scenarios, mood boards, and 3D visualizations.
- Creative strategic thinking: Develop creative solutions that align with business and brand strategy, delivering compelling solutions for Brand Campaigns, Product launches, Seasonal Campaigns, and Retail concepts.
- Design adaptation: Collaborate with the Head of VM Design for key locations, partnering with the Brand and Omnichannel Brand Retail management team.
Design Methodology:
- Translate CX desired outcomes and channel business strategy into compelling VM design solutions.
- Lead co-creation workshops with multidisciplinary stakeholders.
- Drive design concept and development of global identity across formats, collaborating with internal and external design teams.
- Design finesse: Push the boundaries of retail design while being knowledgeable about sustainable design and materials.
Key competencies & skills:
- Manage design projects on time, on quality, on strategy, and on budget.
- Experienced in VM concept design across various formats.
- Knowledgeable in VM design development and how to design to target cost/business & brand strategy.
- Use data to inform design solutions and their continuous improvement.
