My client, a dynamic and rapidly growing payments firm, backed by top VCs, are on a mission to become the leading cross-border fintech for emerging markets.

Role Overview:

They are seeking a dedicated Finance Reporting Manager to take ownership of financial reporting, audit, and compliance activities for multiple global entities. Reporting to their group director , you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial data, maintaining compliance with regulations, and optimizing financial processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial Reporting: Manage entity balance sheets and income statements, prepare consolidated financial reports, and contribute to monthly board packs.
  • Technical Accounting: Provide guidance across the group, draft and implement accounting policies, and address complex issues.
  • Audit Management: Lead statutory audits, serve as the primary contact for auditors, and ensure timely submission of regulatory reports.
  • Compliance: Ensure adherence to GAAP and company accounting policies, and act as the main point of contact for compliance-related inquiries.
  • Process Improvement: Continuously enhance financial reporting processes, implement best practices, and optimize data analysis.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years post-qualified ACA or equivalent.
  • Strong knowledge of IFRS; experience with US GAAP is highly desirable.
  • Prior experience in tax compliance and reporting.
  • Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office or Google Suite; experience with NetSuite and data visualization tools is a plus.
