Job Description
Conveyancer / Case Handler – Residential Team
Location: Altrincham, WA14 5UW (office-based for first 3 months, then hybrid: 2 days office, 3 days WFH)
Hours: Full-time, Mon–Fri, 9:00–17:00
Start Date: ASAP (flexible)
Salary: up to £30k base + competitive uncapped bonus (£7k+ once established)
Join our supportive, sociable and ambitious Residential team as a Case Handler. You’ll manage your own varied caseload of sale and purchase conveyancing transactions (not just standard freeholds!) from instruction to completion – with tailored support, bonus schemes that reward your results, and the work-life balance of hybrid working.
What You’ll Do:
- Manage a caseload of Residential transactions from start to finish
- Liaise with clients, developers, solicitors, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless communication.
- Prepare and review legal documents and correspondence.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all transactions on our CMS.
- Provide exceptional customer service, promptly addressing client queries/concerns.
- Work to exchange and revenue targets with a focus on five-star client feedback
What We’re Looking For:
- Experience supporting residential conveyancing transactions
- Must have hands-on experience with:
Source of Funds checks (reviewing bank statements, conducting checks directly)
Searches and sale enquiries (confident in writing up reports, not just ordering)
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Excellent telephone manner – confident in explaining the conveyancing process to clients
- Organised, detail-oriented, and solutions-focused
- Familiar with case management systems (Proclaim a plus)
- Passionate about delivering great service and achieving results
