Associate Director – Interior Design (Technical Delivery)
Sector: Commercial & Mixed-Use Interiors
Location: London (Hybrid – 3 days in studio, 2 days WFH)
Salary: Up to £70,000 (DOE)
Software: Revit essential | Rhino a plus
We’re partnering with a respected interior architecture studio in London to find a technically-minded Associate Director—someone who knows how to get high-spec commercial interiors delivered on time, on budget, and with serious finesse.
Who This Role Is For:
- A senior-level Interior Designer or Architect with extensive experience delivering large commercial and mixed-use interior schemes
- Someone who thrives on the technical nuts and bolts of interior architecture, from detailed drawings to on-site problem solving
- A confident client lead who’s guided complex projects from design development through to handover
- A calm head who can juggle deadlines, manage teams, and still spot the detail no one else sees

What You'll Be Doing:
- Lead technical delivery across large-scale interiors projects, especially from RIBA Stage 3 onwards
- Own the process—coordinating with clients, consultants, contractors, and internal teams
- Develop and review technical drawing packages in Revit
- Provide on-site support and coordination through to final handover
- Mentor junior designers and contribute to broader studio operations
- Support resourcing, budgeting, and pipeline planning with the senior team
What You’ll Need:
- A degree in Interior Design, Interior Architecture, or Architecture
- Proven experience delivering commercial workplace, retail, or developer-led interiors
- Deep understanding of building regs, fit-out methods, and technical detailing
- Revit proficiency is essential; Rhino, SketchUp, AutoCAD a bonus
- Strong leadership and communication skills
