DSP Engineer
Location: Gloucester
Working Schedule: 4 day week, full-time on-site

We have an exciting role to work as a DSP Engineer, which will place you at the forefront of innovation, engaging in advanced Research & Development for software-defined radio (SDR) systems. You will be pivotal in developing payloads for key Defence, Cyber, and Intelligence programmes.
Key Responsibilities as the DSP Engineer:
- Reverse engineer hardware, software, and signals of RF systems for vulnerabilities and improvements.
- Develop and optimise SDR solutions using advanced DSP techniques.
- Design and innovate new DSP algorithms to enhance SDR performance.
- Collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams to integrate DSP solutions into larger systems.
- Participate in testing and validation efforts through real-world experimentation.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Strong background in DSP, algorithm development, and optimisation.
- Experience in reverse engineering RF systems and signal analysis.
- Proficient in programming with Python, C, and/or C++.
- Knowledge of signal modulation/demodulation techniques and digital communications.
- Familiarity with GnuRadio and FPGA/RFSOC development is advantageous.
- Enhanced DV clearance is required for this role
