I have recently teamed up with a Specialist in housing development and construction.
This diverse team have recently started their search for a Senior Health, Safety and Environmental Manager. You will be contributing to the continuous development of operational management systems, with particular attention to the logging, review, and investigation of safety-related events.
Responsibilities include performing structured site assessments, carrying out workplace inspections, and offering practical guidance across operational environments.
Core Responsibilities:
- Carry out routine site visits to perform audits, safety inspections, and event investigations
- Collaborate with senior teams on key business priorities such as sustainability initiatives, executive reporting, planning sessions, and operational reviews.
- Support the development of a proactive safety and environmental culture across all levels
- Contribute to the design, implementation, and upkeep of management systems
- Assist in enhancing internal digital tools and platforms
- Provide input into project mobilisation activities and early-stage reviews to ensure risk management and compliance considerations are addressed from the outset.
Skills/experience:
- ISO 14001, 9001 & 45001
- Integrated management systems
- Control of Substances Hazardous to Health risk assesment experience
- knowledge of the building and fire regulations
- Ability to build strong relationships
- Strong communication skills
