Head of Services (North and Central) Home-based within the North or Central region of England About Us Locality is the national membership network for community organisations. Our goal is simple: to help local community organisations be the best that they can be and to create a supportive environment for their work. We are now looking for a Head of Services to join us on a full-time, permanent basis, working 35 hours per week. The Role As the Head of Services, you will inspire and motivate our teams across Central and Northern England to deliver high quality support and business advice to community organisations, Local Authorities and other partners. Specifically, you will identify and build income-generating business streams, managing a service delivery/consultancy team, and developing relevant services to engage with members across the North and Central regions. You will also influence and shape our operating environment, driving towards core income targets and contributing to our strategic goal to strengthen community organisations. About You To be considered as the Head of Services (North and Central), you will need: – Experience designing and delivering consultancy services – A proven track record in business development, innovation, management, and delivery – A history of successfully winning contracts and funding bids – In-depth knowledge of areas such as business support, strategic planning, governance, community engagement, or housing and regeneration – Strong team development skills with the ability to deploy resources effectively and profitably – Excellent budgetary, financial, and communication skills As this is an unusual role, we strongly encourage applicants to join us for a digital open day on Tuesday 28th January at 3pm which will be held on Zoom.
