People Partner – Portsmouth (Hybrid)
£40,400 (including car allowance) | 3 days office / 2 days home | Some travel required

About the Role
As a People Partner, you’ll work closely with managers across the business to provide hands-on HR support, deliver key people projects, and help shape our organisational success. You'll be a trusted advisor, offering practical solutions on everything from ER cases and restructures to recruitment, policy, and performance.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Provide expert advice on employee relations matters (disciplinary, grievance, absence, performance)
- Coach and support managers to confidently handle HR issues
- Drive HR processes like restructures, TUPE, and organisational changes
- Partner with recruitment and L&D teams to support talent, succession, and development
- Help maintain strong union relationships
- Ensure HR systems and payroll data are accurate and on time
- Promote best practice around diversity, equity, and inclusion
What We’re Looking For
- Strong HR operations background, ideally at Senior Advisor or Business Partner level
- Confident managing complex ER issues and advising line managers
- Solid knowledge of UK employment law and HR policy
- Experience supporting change and organisational development
- Excellent relationship-building and communication skills
- Willingness to travel as needed
- Must be eligible to live and work in the UK
- CIPD Level 5 Qualified
