A cutting-edge science and technology start-up is looking for a proactive and capable Office Manager to support its London team. If you enjoy managing people-focused environments, love logistics and organisation, and want to make a visible impact on team culture and day-to-day operations—this is your chance to join a growing, mission-driven company.

You’ll manage office and lab facilities, lead local culture and engagement initiatives, and ensure the space runs smoothly and reflects the company’s values.

Key responsibilities:

  • Oversee facilities for office and lab spaces, including vendor and landlord relationships
  • Organise team lunches, social events, and company culture initiatives
  • Coordinate general office operations including supplies, post, and couriers
  • Ensure meeting rooms and communal spaces are presentation-ready
  • Support health & safety protocols, including hazardous waste handling
  • Assist with cross-functional administrative tasks and projects as required
  • Manage workspace layout and optimise for team growth

What we’re looking for:

  • 3+ years’ experience as an Office Manager, ideally in a start-up
  • Excellent organisation and multitasking skills
  • Strong communication, both written and verbal
  • High degree of initiative, ownership, and independence
  • Friendly and professional presence with a collaborative mindset
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving environment

Nice to have:

  • Experience managing hazardous waste or lab facilities
  • Budget planning for workspace operations
  • Eye for workspace design and optimisation
