Production Brazer/Welder Location: Denham, Middlesex Salary: Competitive with benefits Job Summary Join a British engineering firm with a global reputation for innovation and life-saving technology. Our mission is to protect aircrew in the world\’s most advanced military aircraft, and as a Production Brazer/Welder, you\’ll be a vital part of that team. What You\’ll Be Doing You\’ll be responsible for a variety of welding and brazing operations, from assembling parts and sub-assemblies to performing maintenance work. Your role will involve: Brazing low-temperature silver and high-temperature brass workWelding aluminium, stainless steel, and mild steel to AWSD17.1/D17.1M:2010-AMD1 standardsOperating a spot welder and carrying out deburring, polishing, and quality tests.Assisting with Proof of Concept and other development welding activities.Providing welding support for the maintenance team. Characteristics & Skills We\’re looking for someone with an engineering background who is able to read and interpret engineering drawings.
