Base Salary to £70,000 + Bonus and Great Benefits
Our client, a leading online/retail travel business, is now recruiting for an experienced travel professional to join as General Manager.
The General Manager will be responsible for managing all daily operations, including retail sales, administration, marketing, and a rapidly expanding homeworking division.
The ideal candidate must have extensive senior management experience, with a proven track record in managing and developing teams while meeting revenue targets.
This role is based in Yorkshire with some flexibility for home working.
General Manager Responsibilities and Duties:
- Leading and managing an in-house call centre and admin team to achieve and exceed sales targets
- Developing and executing marketing strategies across digital and traditional platforms
- Overseeing website management and content for multiple travel brands
- Expanding and supporting a national network of homeworkers, including recruitment, onboarding, and training
- Identifying and launching new product opportunities, focusing on high-margin offerings such as cruise and long-haul travel
Experience Required:
- Extensive experience in retail travel management, call centres, or homeworking environments
- Proven leadership skills capable of inspiring and developing teams
