Job Title: Key Stage 3 Teacher Salary: £31,650 – £49,084 + SEN allowance (£2,679 – £5,285) Job type: Full/Part Time, Contract/Permanent Start date: April 2025 or sooner MLK Search has recently been assigned to support this Specialist Free School for children with Autism to appoint a dynamic, experienced teacher for their new satellite provision. This will welcome children and young people in Early Years and Key Stage 3 to build on their strengths, learning, confidence, and enjoyment Ofsted recently graded the school as Good after the prior assessment of Requires Improvement. The progress underlines the improvement journey so far, though they are far from satisfied and continue to embed practice. One of a handful of schools within an education charity, there are currently plans to establish an additional provision on site, and numerous other provisions where impact and reach can extend far and wide. As a Key Stage 3 SEN Teacher this role will enable you to: implement and deliver an appropriately broad, balanced, relevant and deafferented curriculum for the pupils, incorporating the areas in line with polices of the school. prepare and implement support plans for individual pupils. assist all pupils, develop emotional security, self-belief, and mature social skills. share in the development and review of the curriculum, teaching materials, methods of teaching and assessment in collaboration with wider teams and leads.
