Job Overview: We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Modern Foreign Languages (MFL) Teacher to join our dynamic and supportive team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality language lessons to students at various levels, helping them to develop linguistic skills and a deep appreciation for foreign cultures. The MFL Teacher will be expected to foster an engaging and inclusive classroom environment where students are encouraged to reach their full potential. Key Responsibilities: * Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and effective language lessons to students across various year groups (e.g., French, Spanish, German, etc.) * Assess, monitor, and evaluate student progress through regular testing, assignments, and feedback. * Adapt teaching methods and resources to meet the diverse learning needs of students. * Foster a positive, respectful, and inclusive learning environment that promotes student participation and enthusiasm for language learning. * Encourage the development of students' speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills in the target language. * Participate in departmental meetings, curriculum planning, and professional development sessions. * Collaborate with colleagues to develop and refine the MFL curriculum and teaching resources. * Provide pastoral support to students and address any concerns regarding their academic progress. * Engage students with extra-curricular activities and language-related events, such as language clubs, trips, and exchanges. * Maintain accurate records of student progress and report on achievements as required by school policy. * Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and developments in language teaching and incorporate best practices into the classroom.
