ROLE: Senior / Principal Fire Safety Engineer
You should possess a strong understanding of building and safety regulations, along with solid engineering principles. You will be responsible for developing fire engineering solutions and strategies, as well as writing detailed reports. Experience in project management, working with clients and local authorities, and excellent communication and relationship-building skills are essential.
EXPERIENCE:
- A postgraduate degree in fire engineering or similar engineering discipline is required.
- A strong understanding of fire engineering principles and fire dynamics.
- Experience in developing fire strategies, providing solutions, and writing detailed reports.
- Experience of developing and delivering innovative fire engineering solutions for various building types.
- Working knowledge of UK fire safety legislation and guidance as well as international guidance documents.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Proven ability to manage projects effectively.
- Prior experience in working with and negotiating with clients and local authorities.
- Knowledge of building regulation Eurocode is desirable.
- UK Driving Licence is essential as the role involves travel to sites around London and Home Counties.
