ABOUT THE ROLE

As a Demi Chef de Partie at The Wild Rabbit, an award-winning fine dining restaurant, you will execute all dishes as per menu specs. Ideally, you\’ll have worked in similar standard restaurant with fresh food or you\’ll simply have a passion for good food so that the basics come easily to you.

The role will require bags of stamina and you\’ll enjoy the fast pace of working in our kitchens. Your natural confidence will enable you to give calm and clear instructions during busy periods. You\’ll be very organised and able to seamlessly coordinate your station.

SALARY: 30000 per annum + Tronc

HOURS: Full time / 48Hours

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Execute all dishes as per menu specs
  • Ensure kitchen audit requirements are adhered to
  • Assist proactively your kitchen members and colleagues
  • Sharing your knowledge and passion for food with your junior staff
  • Ensure your section is fully set for the next day with fresh MEP
  • Learning about our products/production
  • Comply with internal audit requirements
  • Bring our purpose to life by driving meaningful social and environmental improvements, contributing to our journey as a B Corp, and aligning with our sustainability vision.
    Inspire and empower our customers, suppliers, and partners to live and work more consciously, creating a lasting positive impact on the world.

SKILLS YOU WILL BRING

  • Strong Culinary Techniques: Strong foundation in food preparation, cooking methods, and kitchen hygiene.
  • Section Support: Ability to assist in managing a specific kitchen section (e.g., grill, larder, pastry) under the supervision of a Chef de Partie.
  • Knife Skills & Presentation: Confident in prepping ingredients and plating dishes with precision and consistency.
  • Time Management: Work efficiently under pressure to meet service deadlines during busy periods.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with senior chefs and kitchen staff to ensure smooth kitchen operations.
