Senior Care Assistant needed in Rushden! £14.54ph Full time Contracted Day shifts 7am – 7pm My client, based in Rushden, is part of a fantastic organisation that is passionate about providing the highest standards of care to their residents. They are now seeking an experienced and motivated individual to join their team as a Senior Care Assistant on a permanent contract on days. This modern 53-bed care home offers spacious communal areas, including a cozy library and a tea and coffee station for residents to host loved ones. Residents here can also enjoy beautifully landscaped gardens, with many rooms offering views of these serene outdoor spaces. Following recent extensions to increase capacity, which were quickly filled, the home is now expanding further with plans for an additional extension to accommodate even more residents. Requirements of the Senior Care Assistant Role: * Excellent communication and written skills * Previous experience as a senior care assistant, ideally in a care home setting * NVQ3 or higher in Health & Social Care * Medication Trained Responsibilities as a Senior Care Assistant: * Assist clients with personal care tasks, such as washing, dressing, eating and toileting * Liasing with GPs, healthcare professionals, and families * Managing the care team and ensuring staff are adhering to CQC Guidlines * Provide exceptional leves of care to residents * Assist with medication, care plans, and risk assessments * Understanding of CQC regulations and DoLs Limited interview slots are available so if you are interested, please do not hesitate to contact me when you can.
