Principal Electrical Engineer required for long term contract role, working for a major oil & gas design and engineering contractor based in Surrey.
You will be working on a Middle East LNG FEED project, and previous experience working on Aramco projects is preferred. A minimum of 10 years experience working for a consultant engineering company, machinery manufacturer, or end user company is essential for this role.
Skills/experience required:
- Principal Electrical Engineer with demonstrable experience of designing electrical systems for voltages up to 132kV including overhead lines, reactive power compensation etc for various energy transition projects in FEED and / or EPC.
- Experience should include designs for 132kV electrical distribution systems, interfacing with grid company, protection requirements and brownfield modifications.
- Knowledge should include Aramco Standards and Grid Code requirements.
- Strong gas processing or LNG experience.
- Conceptual, pre-FEED, study or FEED experience.

Duration: 1 year+
Start date: Immediate start
Location: Surrey. This role is office based for 5 days per week (40 hrs per week)
Rate: £50 p/h PAYE. 33 days paid holiday & pension contributions on top of this rate. Please note that this role has been deemed to fall inside of IR35.
