ABOUT THE ROLE
Reporting to an Associate Director, youll manage a varied portfolio of SME clients and steer a small team to deliver accurate accounts, VAT and bookkeeping services. Youll combine hands-on review work with mentoring and workflow planning, keeping client relationships front and centre.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Own a client portfolioof limited companies (including groups), sole traders and partnerships
- Management and delivery of accounts assignmentsfor Limited Companies (including groups), Sole Traders and Partnerships from both balanced systems including cloud-based software and incomplete records
- Produce draftcorporation and business tax computationswith supporting analysis
- OverseeVAT returnsand day-to-day bookkeeping processes
- Budget and scheduleassignments, matching capacity to deadlines
- Lead, delegate and reviewwork of junior and outsourced colleagues
- Deliver clear, timely advice to clients and support Partners on ad-hoc projects
ABOUT YOU
- 4+ years in UK accountancy practice(essential)
- ACA or ACCA fully or part qualified(essential)
- Confident managing multiple client relationships and mentoring teammates
- Adept with cloud accounting software (Xero, QuickBooks or similar)
