Job Title : Business Development Director
Location : Ireland (remote) or Europe Based

Summary : Our Tech Client that specializes in providing software to the Life Sciences industry is looking for an Experienced Business Development Director with proven experience in the Life Science Industry. The role will predominantly be remote but will require some elements of travel to the Limerick or Dublin office when business needs require. Demonstrated experience in pricing proposals, RFPs, and RFIs is a must. This position can be based in the UK, Ireland, or some parts of Europe.
Responsibilities:
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including partnerships and collaborations. Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners & stakeholders.
- Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics, prepare regular reports, and present findings to senior management.
- Prepare business proposals and present the company’s products through online and on-site demonstrations, respond to RFIs and RFPs, and develop pricing proposals.
- Provide detailed and accurate sales forecasting on a regular basis.
- Identify trends and new business opportunities and partnerships. Establish a strong market presence within assigned territories.
- Work closely with our Go-to-market team and SDR team to develop and execute growth strategies.
- Actively contribute to the decision-making process, understand customer problems, and propose design alternatives to support product success.
Requirements :
- 5+ years of proven sales experience within the Clinical Research and life science industry.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Life Sciences, Business, or a related field.
- Established networks and relationships within the Clinical Operations environment.
- Proven track record of driving sales and business development activities within the Clinical Operational space.
- Excellent planning, analytical, and interpersonal skills.
- Outstanding written and oral communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with executives, peers, managers, and team members.
- Effective team player and collaborator with high energy levels and a desire to succeed.
- Ability to understand the Life Sciences customer’s needs and provide solutions.
