Join our team of Leasehold Service Officers and play a key role in delivering resident-centered services to Camdenβs 9800 Leaseholders. As a Leasehold Service Officer, you will report to the Leasehold Services Team Leader and manage a diverse workload, including processing Right to Buy applications, Sub-letting and Lease extension applications, and providing a broad range of advice and support to leaseholders in Camden.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide person-centered services, advice, and support to leaseholders as part of a relational approach.
- Process Right to Buy applications, handle Lease Enquiries, Lease Enforcement, and other home ownership related services.
- Process applications for Lease Extensions and Collective Enfranchisement.
- Process applications for sub-letting.
- Provide representation at the First Tier Tribunal.
- Work in line with procedures to ensure effective joined-up working within Home Ownership and other Camden Teams to ensure early intervention, person-centered support, and good outcomes for residents.
- Support compliance with legislation, case law, best practices, and Camden policies.
- Support the Leasehold Services Team Leader, meet team targets, and record information in a clear and accessible way.
- Provide representation at Tribunals and Court hearings or gather and provide evidence to support enforcement action where necessary.
Requirements
- Proven experience in leasehold management or related field.
- Knowledge of leasehold legislation and best practices.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively within a team.
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
- Familiarity with relevant tribunal and court procedures is desirable.
