Job Description:

Trainee SEN Teaching Assistant

We are excited to offer a unique opportunity for individuals who are passionate about education and want to support children with special educational needs (SEN). As a Trainee SEN Teaching Assistant, you will receive high-quality training while gaining valuable on-the-job experience. This position is perfect for those who have a love for helping others but may not have previous experience or qualifications in education.

We are working with a number of Secondary Schools based in South Manchester, and ideally candidates would be able to commute to Trafford and/or Stockport.

This role will start in September and run full-time until July 2026.

Role highlights:

– Earning potential up to £100 per day

– Client schools all have secure car parks and good transport links

– Working hours 8:30am – 3pm

– Gain experience working in a large, diverse and busy school setting

– Making a difference supporting SEN students

– The ability to be flexible and work closely with all school departments to identify and help those students that need additional support.

– It is essential that applicants are able to build relationships and connect with a variety of students from different backgrounds.

– Candidates must be organised and have experience supporting students in 1:1 and small group settings.
