Sirona Medical is currently looking for a Housing Options Officer in Somerset.
All applicants must have a good working knowledge of the Homelessness Reduction Act and experience using the Locata system. Candidates should be able to provide messaging to service users in a compassionate and sympathetic manner.
Responsibilities include:
- Providing advice, information, and assistance to applicants who are homeless or at risk of homelessness.
- Helping applicants explore housing options and find suitable accommodation.
- Working with partners and agencies to prevent and reduce homelessness.
- Referral signposting to supporting agencies.
This role offers remote working with a duty rota of approximately 2 days a week; further details will be discussed at interview. The caseload will be managed alongside homelessness duty cover (08:30-17:00 daily).
