An exciting opportunity has arisen to join Nescot as a Head of Curriculum for English, Maths & ESOL. We are looking to appoint an experienced person to lead, manage and develop our English, Maths & ESOL provision as well as promoting and disseminating excellent teaching and effective learning across the areas that you will be managing. Joining our renewed management and leadership team, you will lead and support your curriculum co-ordinators and staff in our well-established English, Maths and ESOL provision ensuring that students get a first-class experience in the classroom and that the curriculum is fit for the future. You will work with your staff and be responsible for championing teaching, learning and assessment practices including innovative online teaching, IQA work, mentoring curriculum colleagues, and liaising with the quality and innovation team to ensure that students develop their English and Maths skills to fulfil future employment opportunities. You should have excellent communication skills and innovative ideas about the development of curriculum for this strategic area of growth for education and jobs.
