Job Role: Level 2 Plumbing (Mechanical) Engineer

Location: HMP Eastwood Park, Falfield, Wotton-under-Edge GL12 8DB

Salary: £34,931.68

Contract: Full time, Monday to Friday, 39 hours per week, permanent.

We are seeking a dedicated Plumber / Mechanical Engineer (Level 2) to join our team at HMP Eastwood Park, a closed category adult female prison.

HMP Eastwood Park operates like a self-contained city, requiring hundreds of staff to keep it functioning. Our Facilities Maintenance Team is committed to ensuring smooth and safe operations, impacting prisoners, staff, visitors, and the wider community.

As a Plumber / Mechanical Engineer (Level 2), you will work alongside experienced colleagues including Plumbers, Electricians, Carpenters, Painters, Cleaners, and Administrators, all dedicated to making a positive difference.

We are a five-year-old Ministry of Justice business providing critical services to HMPPS, seeking a candidate with:

  1. NVQ Level 2 in a mechanical or plumbing discipline or equivalent.
