- Reading, understanding, and implementing Risk Assessments and Method Statements
- Checking dimensions and thicknesses
- Tig and MIG Welding Stainless Steel, Ali and Mild Steel between 2mm to 20mminto a wide range of structures, producing strong, clean welds suitable for machinery to be used in the food industry
- Reworking and/or repairing welded parts and products according to engineering specification changes
- Operating tools and machinery and welding equipment
- Cutting and grinding metal
- Cleaning tools, equipment and work areas
Person specification:
- Fabricator welder apprenticeship or equivalent
- Experience of TIG and MIG Welding
- Experience Fabricating
- Experience of use of lifting equipment would be a plus
- Manual handling training
- Able to read engineering drawings
- Proactive approach to safety
- Use of hand tools
This is a full time permanent Welder Fabricator position, Working Monday to Friday 8am-4:30pm, offering an annual salary of up to £18.50ph plus annual company benefits to include paid holiday plus 8 bank holidays, pension scheme, discount scheme on all company products, over time, Christmas bonus and free car parking.
