Due to an internal move within our existing team, we are now in search of a passionate and enthusiastic Senior OOH Nurse to join our dedicated OOH and ECC team at Swift Referrals., As a dedicated OOH Senior Nurse at Swift Referrals, you will play a vital role in our mission to deliver exceptional patient care. In this role, your primary focus will be to support the Clinical Team Leader (CTL) and the Clinical Nursing Manager (CNM) in delivering exceptional clinical and client care. You’ll play a crucial role in promoting high standards of care within the Nursing Team by leading by example. Your responsibilities extend to assisting in meeting operational and managerial requirements, ensuring a productive, commercial, and client-focused service is consistently provided. Beyond that, you’ll take charge of the day-to-day operations of the team, handling tasks such as ordering supplies and conducting team training. Additionally, you’ll step into the role of the Clinical Team Leader in their absence, ensuring the smooth running of the team.
Your role extends to overseeing appropriate client charges, maintaining equipment, ensuring adherence to Health and Safety policies, delivering inductions to new team members, and actively participating in various company sub-committees. Additionally, you’ll assist with performance reviews, quality improvement initiatives, and foster a collaborative team environment. With a keen eye for improvement opportunities, you will confidently identify and propose modifications to enhance working practices.
We are a busy emergency centre where high quality nursing is championed, and we are true advocates for supporting personal growth and clinical development for our entire nursing team. We offer a sought-after shift pattern of 3 set nights per week starting on a Sunday, with a 1:4 Saturday night rota. This is a full-time position consisting of 37.5 hours per week, worked over 3 days, Wednesday-Friday with 1:4 Saturday nights. Shift times are 19:30-08:00 with a 1 hour unpaid break.
