Overview

We are looking for a skilled Roofer to join our successful responsive maintenance business on our contract across the Midlands. You will specialise in carrying out repairs and maintenance on small and large scale jobs to customers’ properties.

The Roofer Role

We’re committed to keeping you safe, happy and supported, with Health and Safety being paramount for you, us and the customer.

  • You will be responsible for undertaking repair/renewal roofing works, including repairs and maintenance covering roof leaks, felt & batten, gutter leaks, lead work & torch-on felt repairs. Ability to undertake some brickwork-related repairs is desirable.
  • Build strong relationships and communicate effectively with the scheduling team, tenants and your line managers.
  • Work safely and in compliance with Health & Safety requirements.

What you will bring as a Roofer

  • NVQ Level 2 in Roofing (or equivalent).
  • Current PASMA and IPAF certification is desirable.
  • Ability to work to targets in a fast-paced and reactive environment.
  • Professional and considerate in a range of environments, including vulnerable tenants’ homes within social housing settings.
  • Full, valid UK driving licence with the use of a company van.
