Waterfront UTC is seeking to appoint a member of staff to join our Engineering Department. The successful candidate will be an enthusiastic, talented, and passionate Head of Engineering, to start with immediate effect.
The successful candidate will have excellent subject knowledge and be confident that students in their care will make exceptional progress. This is a great opportunity for someone to join a team which is forward-thinking and focused on doing the very best for every student.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about our specialism. This post is suitable for either a teacher with experience in Engineering who wants to make a move into subject leadership, or an experienced Head of Department looking for a new challenge.
This is a full-time, permanent role, paid based on STPC Main or Upper Pay Range, dependent on experience, as well as a TLR2a (£8,279).
The school is offering a recruitment incentive of £5k. This is split into the following payments – £2.5k subject to the successful completion of a 6 month probationary period, and a further £2.5k to be paid 6 months to follow as a retention incentive. This is subject to the successful candidate remaining at the school for at least that next year.
