For our Human Resources Services Division, we are looking for a Senior Payroll Specialist who works for the region of United Kingdom and Ireland.

As Senior Payroll Specialist you are responsible for executing senior level payroll activities and overseeing payroll and time & attendance operations. You will collaborate closely with your local and regional colleagues, external vendors and internal stakeholders.

You will report to the Payroll Manager. This position requires deep operational payroll expertise, strong team leadership capabilities and the ability to operated effectively in complex and fast paced environment, offering a dynamic opportunity to contribute both hands-on and strategically. You will ensure compliance with local laws while aligning with global payroll standards and contributing to strategic HR Initiatives.

Your responsibilities

  • End-to-End Payroll Processing: Lead the end-to-end payroll function for UK&I, ensuring accuracy, compliance and alignment with business objectives end regulatory requirements. Act as first point of escalation for all payroll matters.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Stay up to date with changes in payroll legislation and ensure all processes and documentation are compliant and updated.
  • Process Improvement: Drive continuous improvement initiatives, including automation, system enhancements and simplification of payroll processes. Working with the European Service Line to share and implement best practices.
  • Vendor & Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with external vendors, tax authorities, and internal departments such as Legal and Finance. Also, working closely with the regional owners of all Payroll Products.
  • Team Support: Mentor and develop payroll team members, fostering a high-performance culture. Provide strategic support to the Payroll Manager and act as deputy when required.
  • Reporting & Audits: Oversee delivery of complex payroll and time & attendance reports, support internal and external audits, and ensure data integrity across systems.
