The role
The Occupational Health Specialist will support the delivery of the Occupational Health (OH) services and will organise and coordinate the activities required to promote, maintain and improve the health and wellbeing of our people.
You will:
– Be a key support in ensuring Health Surveillance programme compliance.
– Help assist, develop and implement an annual programme of activities and campaigns that support colleagues and the employee experience
– Support colleagues and business areas with clinical advice and support. Will provide advice and guidance to colleagues and managers in relation to Occupational Health and wellbeing matters and report on potential risks to health.
– They will deliver and support health promotional activity including health events, drop-in clinics, presentations, workshops, health promotion campaigns, initiatives and programmes and ability to show measurable benefits / outcomes.
You have
– Registered General Nurse with current NMC registration with previous experience in Occupational Health, as an Occupational Health professional
– Strong communication and interpersonal skills
– Exceptional organisational skills with the ability to demonstrate initiative
– Good understanding of SHE Management system & UK legal regulations
– Ability to effectively identify and analyse problems, understand risks and implement optimal solutions
