Harrow – Senior Practitioner – Mental Health – £34

We are seeking a Senior Practitioner for the Mental Health Team in Harrow. The role involves extensive knowledge of the MHA, S117 reviews & discharge processes, managing and overseeing the review team within the MH Service, and delivering statutory MH Reviews.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Provide advice and support to social workers and care managers on casework.
  2. Support the Team Manager by deputising in their absence and act as Duty Manager when needed.
  3. Chair Professional Meetings/Case Conferences as appropriate.
  4. Support the social worker on duty to ensure concerns are addressed promptly and appropriately.
  5. Record actions and decisions clearly on the Mosaic database.
  6. Undertake complex enquiries, liaising with internal and external colleagues as needed.

Essential Requirements:

  • Degree/Master’s in Social Work and SWE registration.
  • At least 2 years of post-qualification experience.
