CAD Technician (Civil/Infrastructure Solutions)\\n\\nPortsmouth\\n\\n£35,000 to £40,000 + Free Parking + Benefits\\n\\nCAD Technician required for a growing and successful company. In this interesting and varied role you will get involved with 2D, 3D, Dynamo and BIM tools.\\n\\nThe company offer training, mentoring and great project exposure so that you will have a rewarding long term career in their design team. \\n\\nThe CAD Technician role is a mix of hands-on technical work, creative problem solving and continuous learning.
\\n\\nThe CAD Technician Role:\\n\\n* Create accurate and detailed 2D and 3D CAD drawings and models that meet project and client requirements.\\n* Support Project Managers and the Design Manager throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring accurate and timely deliverables.\\n* Identify opportunities for improvement in design processes, automation, and coordination using tools like Civil 3D, Dynamo.\\n* Work independently to deliver results while supporting team goals.\\n* Collaborate with a talented team to solve design challenges and improve workflows.\\n* Maintain and improve the company CAD library, including templates, blocks, and workflows.\\n\\nThe CAD Technician:\\n\\n* Experience in 2D & 3D CAD (Civil3D and AutoCAD ideally)\\n\\n* Any clash detection experience is beneficial\\n\\n* Any knowledge of surveying methods for locating and mapping underground utilities in line with PAS 128 guidance (or similar) is beneficial not essential
