Come join us as a UX/UI Designer to help shape the user experience within our Unreal Engine 4 and 5 simulations. This role is UK-based remote only.

You will work closely with our Lead, UI team, and Engineers to assist in the design, creation, and implementation of game menu systems and related overlays for in-game features. The successful candidate will have experience in user interface design within the video games or interactive website industries, with strong technical skills, knowledge of the UE4 or UE5 editor, and excellent attention to detail.

Main Responsibilities

  • Design wireframes, user flows, prototypes, and high-fidelity mock-ups for in-game interfaces and menus
  • Create and maintain UI/UX documentation and style guides
  • Present variations in style and accessibility options
  • Translate gameplay systems and mechanics into clear and engaging user experiences
  • Design and craft art assets for UI creation
  • Assist in creating UI design bibles, feature mock-ups, and screen menu designs
  • Collaborate with game designers and engineers to iterate on game interfaces
  • Rapidly iterate design implementations for the best user experience
  • Ensure consistency and usability across platforms (PC, console, mobile)

What We Look for in You

  • Proficiency with design & prototyping tools such as Figma, Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop
  • Experience with Miro and Confluence
  • A portfolio demonstrating strong UX & UI visual design
  • Excellent graphic and information design skills
  • Experience with motion graphics design/prototyping (After Effects, Animate CC, etc) is a plus
  • Strong usability testing experience
  • Knowledge of UE4 or UE5 and Blueprints is desirable
  • 4+ years of experience in the games industry
  • Creative and practical problem-solving skills
  • Resourceful, self-motivated, and organized
  • Up-to-date with UX/UI trends in gaming and related industries
