Job Type: 18 month Fixed Term Contract

The Partnership Co-Ordinator role sits within the Funding & Compliance Team and is key to the positive support our partner providers require and receive. The role will support the Head of Funding & Compliance to monitor and manage the education delivered by the college’s partner providers. Taking a key responsibility for ensuring compliance with contractual requirements and government funding rules. Working closely with other college teams such as Student Finance, Learning Support, Curriculum Teams and Finance to ensure the smooth running of all aspects of the partnership delivery.

In this pivotal role, the Partnership Co-Ordinator acts as the main point of contact for all partner providers —coordinating and monitoring contract activities, facilitating compliance with external requirements and ensuring the best experience for the college’s partner organisations and partner students.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the administrative processes of partner contracts within the MIS Team.
  • Provide a professional and responsive service to College partners, ensuring regular contact and promotion including face to face, telephone and emails.
  • Lead & monitor compliance and audit requirements for partner contracts in the MIS Team.
  • Complete due diligence processes for partner contracts
  • Maintain accurate records of partner contract changes
  • To input, compile and provide timely and accurate data relating Partnerships performance
  • Prepare accurate and timely performance reports for partner performance reviews.
  • In liaison with other College departments (including Pedagogy and Insight, Personal Development and Progression, Learning Support and Student Support teams) provide high quality support and advice to College partners.
  • To liaise with partners to ensure claims and data is submitted on time and in accordance with the published timetable.
  • Maintain and provide guidance to others, an up to date knowledge of guidance and regulations for all funding streams
  • Ensure data accuracy and integrity, correcting ILR rule violations and supporting the completion PDSAT reports.
  • Prepare partner contracts including variations ensuring MCV and target information is accurately reflected.
  • To liaise with the Finance team to ensure that accuracy of the partner invoices.
  • To support in preparation work for internal and external audit in relation to systems and data audits
  • Act as a liaison with Partner organisations in relation to performance reviews, preparing agendas, performance information and tacking minutes and actions notes.
  • Taking ownership for issue resolution and escalation to Deputy Chief Executive.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

Essential Criteria

  • Administration experience within a further education/training environment
  • Knowledge of subcontracting rules relating to devolved & non-devolved areas

Desirable Criteria

  • Experience of ILR input and data correction
  • Knowledge of funding regulations and audit requirements including FE & HE
  • Excellent ICT skills including proficient use of Microsoft Office and Student Records Systems
  • Experience of working in a customer-oriented environment.
