We are seeking a Product Owner to join our Agile product team on a fixed-term contract to cover maternity leave. This role offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to the development of customer-facing digital products in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
About the Role
As Product Owner, you will work closely with cross-functional teams including developers, designers, and stakeholders to define, refine, and manage the product backlog. You’ll ensure delivery of high-quality, high-impact features that align with business priorities and user needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the key liaison between business and technology teams
- Own and manage the product backlog with well-defined user stories and clear priorities
- Lead Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, backlog refinement, and sprint reviews
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and translate requirements into actionable tasks
- Create supporting documentation including wireframes, flow diagrams, and release notes
- Review sprint outputs and continuously identify opportunities for improvement
What You Bring
- 2–3+ years\’ experience as a Product Owner, Business Analyst, or similar role
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Solid understanding of Agile methodologies (e.g., Scrum, Kanban)
- Proficiency in tools such as Jira, Confluence, or Azure DevOps
- Excellent attention to detail with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data, or a related field
Preferred Experience
- Previous work on customer-facing digital or mobile applications
- Industry background in Retail Tech, ERP, Fuel, Logistics, or Financial Services
- Experience with transactional or real-time platforms
