We are now recruiting for experienced Travel Consultants to join our team of experts at our store in Cobham.
To be considered, you need to have experience of selling long haul destinations and tailor-made holidays. You need to have exceptional customer service skills, be driven by your passion for travel and motivated to meet and exceed your targets. GDS experience would also be an advantage.

We have a lucrative uncapped commission scheme with average commission of £24K on top of your base salary, however our top performers average £55K in commission!
Depending on experience in your 1st Year you can expect a minimum OTE of £35K rising to £39K in Year 2.
Thanks to Travelbag’s regular marketing activity, you’ll always have plenty of customer enquiries to follow up. And you’ll build fantastic relationships with your customers, whether face to face or over the phone, so they come back to you time and time again. Our impressive number of repeat customers is something we’re incredibly proud of.
Our recruitment process is as follows: If you’ve amazed us with your application you’ll be invited to an online ‘Get to know Travelbag’ session to give you an insight into the role, Travelbag’s journey and what it’s like to work for Travelbag. You’ll then be asked to complete a recorded video interview, in your own time. If you’re successful at this stage you’ll be invited to an interview, ideally in person at the store you’ve applied for.
When you join Travelbag, you’ll have an initial 4-week interactive training period with our inhouse training team. You’ll then join our ‘academy’ with dedicated support alongside support and coaching from your manager.
You will have lots of opportunities to enhance your product and destination knowledge – including weekly product training from our destination team and supplier hosted events where you can meet others in the industry as well as learn about a product or destination – and there are usually prizes up for grabs!
Our Travel Consultants work 37.5 hours per week 5 days over 7, 9am to 6:00pm. In peak periods we can be open 9am to 9pm to meet our customer demands.
