Job Purpose, Tasks and Responsibilities You will be responsible for: * Selling sponsorship opportunities and marketing solutions for ICA. * Building a book of business by researching and approaching new clients in the RegTech and consultancy markets. * Promoting ICA’s portfolio of events and marketing solutions, including webinars, custom events, solus emails, and e-books. * Engaging in outbound sales activity, making a minimum of 30 calls and 50 total outbound activities per day. * Conducting at least three client meetings per week and sending a minimum of £25k worth of proposals weekly. * Managing the entire sales process from pitch to close, ensuring accurate tracking in Salesforce. * Representing Wilmington and ICA at events to build long-term relationships with clients. What’s the Best Thing About This Role? In this role, you’ll be selling for ICA, a market-leading brand with a global reach. This is a new role within Wilmington Events, allowing you to carve it into your own opportunity. What’s the Most Challenging Thing About This Role? As with any sales role, you’ll be set a number of targets, such as client retention rates and meeting numbers. You need to be target-driven to achieve these. What We’re Looking For To be successful in this role, you must have: * Experience in selling event sponsorship opportunities. * B2B sales experience with a strong focus on outbound sales and new business development. * Strong consultative sales skills and an ability to navigate a complex sales process. * Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. * Proficiency in using a CRM system, such as Salesforce. It would be great if you also have: * Experience in selling marketing solutions. * Knowledge of the RegTech and compliance sector. * A proactive and self-motivated attitude.
