Are you an experienced Vehicle Mechanic with a passion for diagnostics and diesel engines? We\’re currently recruiting on behalf of a well-established company in the Burton area that\’s seeking a skilled and reliable mechanic to join their team.
Your Day-to-Day
- Conduct accurate diagnostics and identify faults across a diverse range of vehicles, with a focus on diesel-powered systems.
- Carry out routine servicing, preventative maintenance, and intricate mechanical repairs on engines, braking systems, steering, and suspension components.
- Utilise advanced diagnostic equipment and tools to efficiently pinpoint and resolve vehicle issues.
- Service a broad spectrum of vehicles, including light commercial and fleet vehicles.
- Adhere to all health and safety protocols, maintaining a clean, organised, and compliant workshop environment.
What You\’ll Need
- Demonstrated experience as a qualified vehicle mechanic, ideally with specialist knowledge of diesel engines.
- Strong diagnostic and fault-finding capabilities, with a hands-on approach to resolving complex mechanical problems.
- Ability to perform high-level repairs and component replacements independently.
- An experienced car and van mechanic.
- Commitment to work 40 hours per week (08:30am – 17:30pm Monday – Friday)
- A good understanding of diesel-related electrical systems is highly advantageous.
- A full, valid UK driving licence is desirable.
